Baby Rafferty Part II

Our New Baby Rafferty! Part I

Okay...so Parker and I have gone completly insane! On August 4th a new little beagle mix pup was born...and at 4 weeks old...we adopted her. Yes, 4 weeks old was a little young...unforeseen events caused her to separate from her mom early. Her name is Rafferty...and Micah and Trooper believe we have lost our mind. They are starting to warm up to her...and Rafferty is doing a fine job of playing with them.
So, Yes...we are crazy! At 2 1/2 months old (October 12th) she will be taking the long journey of going to Arkansas for about a week...and then yet...another long drive to Arizona where we decided to spend some time at this go around. Our plans are to stay in Arizona for a year...
p.s. I really think that Grandma wants one of the litter mates!

Melissa Etheridge in Chicago!

Well it does take something special to drag me through crazy Chicago traffic! Melissa Etheridge in Concert! This past August, Parker and I had a wonderful dinner and then went to see her in concert! Great Time...and Melissa really puts on a...as Parker would say..."A Fabulous Show"!

Great Friends! Great Food

Well...we made it back to New Carlisle, Indiana last May...after spending six months in Lake Village, Arkansas! It has really been enjoyable heading south in the fall/winter to spend some time with Parker's family! So, after geating back to Indiana...we went out for some of the best deep dish pizza! We had a great evening with friends! Hopefully we will make it back there one more time before leaving in October!! Where does the time go...

Crossland Zoo with the Niecelets Part I

A weekend of fun with Parker's Nieces! We did alot of great stuff! On one of our adventures...we drove to Crossett, AR...where they had a tiny little zoo. We had great time...I am not even sure someone was working. The store was closed and we never saw anyone. So, we walked around the entire zoo and just looked at all the animals...they actually had more than I thought. I guess we tired out Reagan...she fell asleep in the car on the ride home...
That night we watched some movies and had tons of snacks!

Christmas in Arkansas 2009

This past Christmas, Parker and I enjoyed celebrating the season with Parker's family! We had a great time...and Santa was extremely kind! It has been a great joy to travel each year...but spending time with family around the holidays is by far an even greater joy! Hi to all of our Family and Friends back in cold, snowy Indiana...we Miss You.

In Flight!

This is one of my favorite Nature shots that I took while in Lake Village Arkansas!
